
7th Ranked Cardinals Travel to Utah Tuesday

Salt Lake City, Utah - The 7th ranked Louisville Cardinals will face a tough test at Utah on Tuesday evening at the Jon Huntsman Center at 9:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Mountain West Television, known as The MTN.
The Cardinals enter the game with their highest ranking in school history at No. 7 in the Associated Press poll this week. Louisville is coming off a 65-55 road win over No. 22 Xavier. The Cardinals are led in scoring by senior Angel McCoughtry with 20 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Senior Candyce Bingham is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 13.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
Utah enters the game with an overall record of 2-1. The Utes are coming off a 70-58 loss against South Dakota State. Morgan Warburton, the Mountain West Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the team in scoring with 21.7 points per game. Kalee Whipple is second on the team with 15 points per game.
The Cardinals and the Utes have met one time in the first round of the NCAA Tournament held in Durham, N.C. where the Cardinals won 69-61.
