Schaefer Named to NFHCA Senior All-Star Team

Lauren Schaefer has been named to the 2008 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Senior All-Star team. She will compete in the Division I Senior All-Star Game which will be played on Saturday, November 22nd at U of L's Trager Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

Schaefer, a defender from Millersville, Pa., is fourth on the team with five goals on the season. She was recently named to the BIG EAST honor roll and the womensfieldhockey.com honor roll after scoring three goals last weekend.

The eleventh-ranked Cardinals (10-5, 4-1 BIG EAST) will take a break from league action when play host to Robert Morris on Friday at 7 p.m. and Northwestern Sunday at 1 p.m.
