
Women's Golf Finishes 16th at NCAA Preview

Albuquerque, NM - The Louisville women's golf team finished 16th with a score of 913 in the Margaret Branch NCAA Preview on Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals finished the third round shooting their low round of the tournament with a 303. Duke, the defending national champion won the tournament with a score of 860. USC was one stroke behind in second with a score of 861 while UCLA finished third with a score of 870.
Freshman Sara-Maude Juneau led the Cardinals in the final round after carding a 73 for even par. She finished tied for 35th with a score of 224. Juneau finished the day with four birdies. USC's Dewi Claire Schreefel took titlest honors with a score of 304.
Junior Amanda Henry finished the day just one over par to finish. She finished tied at 35th with a score of 225. Henry finished the day with two birdies for her best round of the tournament. Fellow junior Cindy LaCrosse finished the final round three over par. She finished tied at 51st with a score of 227. She finished the day with two birdies.
Freshman Laura Anderson finished tied at 84th with a score of 240. Sophomore Chrissy Pachuta finished 87th with a score of 242.
The Cardinals will be back in action on Oct. 19 at Furman's Lady Paladin.
