Softball Will Play Missouri Doubleheader Wednesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - Tuesday's softball game between the University of Louisville and Missouri has been rescheduled as a doubleheader Wednesday starting at 3 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium.
Missouri (23-17) opened Big 12 conference play in Lubbock, Texas, where weather conditions over the weekend forced the Tigers to remain on the road an extra day. Louisville and Missouri were originally supposed to play single games Tuesday and Wednesday.
U of L (16-13) is coming off of a 3-1 performance at the Women 4 Women Softball Invitational. The Cards picked up wins over Liberty, No. 7/8 Northwestern and No. 25 California before falling 2-0 to No. 6 Michigan on Sunday.
The Cardinals will open BIG EAST Conference play at home this weekend with a doubleheader against Villanova on Friday, March 30 at 4 p.m. Rutgers will visit Ulmer Stadium for a twinbill on Sunday, April 1 at 11 a.m.
