
Men's Soccer to Host No. 13 Indiana

Louisville, Ky. - The Louisville men's soccer team will take a break from league play on Wednesday, Oct. 10 as they host No. 13 Indiana in Cardinal Park at 7:00 p.m. The Hoosiers lead the series with a 14-0 record over the Cardinals.
The Cardinals are coming off a 1-0 win over No. 12 South Florida on Saturday night in Cardinal Park. With the victory, the Cardinals surpassed last year's win total with a 6-4-0 record. The Cardinals are currently ranked No. 10 in the Great Lakes Region while Indiana is ranked No. 3 in the region.
Louisville is led in scoring by senior Marco Terminesi with five goals and two assists on the season. The Cardinal defense has been stingy this season with four shutouts, including three in BIG EAST play. Sophomore keeper David Simolike leads the defense with a .80 goals against average.
Indiana enters the game having won its last four games. They defeated No. 24 Michigan State 2-0 on Saturday night to remain undefeated in Big Ten play. Kevin Noschary leads the team with four goals and one assist on the season. Hoosier keeper Chay Cain has a 6-3-1 record on the season with a .84 goals against average.
