The University of Louisville women's tennis team is ranked No. 74 in the final 2006 Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) year end poll. Are
The Cardinals are coming off a 23-7 season for their fourth straight 20+ win season under fourth year coach Greg Davis. U of L also made its first ever Top 50 appearance in the poll in 2006. The Cardinals return all six of their top players for the 2006-07 season.
"I feel our final ranking showcases the improvements we have made over the last four years," said Davis. "With all of our top six athletes coming back, we will be looking forward to adding experience to an already talented team. The future looks very bright for the U of L women's tennis team."
