Browns Summit, NC - University of Louisville junior golfer Adrienne White finished the second day of competition in the NCAA East Regional with a score of 75 at the Bryan Park Championship Course in Browns Summit, NC. White is currently tied at 25th with a score of 147. Alabama's Jenny Suh still leads the field with a score of 139. LSU leads the team competition with a score of 576 after two rounds.
"I was disappointed in my play today," said White. "I felt like I left a lot of strokes on the course and gave a lot away. But today will not stop me from focusing on tomorrow and really attacking the course and try to take it back. I think starting on the back nine can play to my advantage tomorrow."
The junior started off the day with a bogey on the first two holes before making the turn at one over par. White fought back on the back nine to finish two over par, making her three over par on the day.
White will continue wrap up play tomorrow in the final round with an 8:00 a.m. tee time.
