Cheerleading and Ladybirds Dance Team to Hold Tryouts

The University of Louisville Cheer and Dance squads are holding tryouts this weekend at Louisville Cheer and Dance Co. and the Student Activities Center.
For Cheerleading, tryouts will be held April 27-30.
Thursday, April 27th the tryouts will be at Louisville Cheer and Dance Co. at 3321 Gilmore Industrial Blvd. from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday, April 28th the tryouts will be at Louisville Cheer and Dance Co. at 3321 Gilmore Industrial Blvd. from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Aprial 29th the tryouts will be at Cardinal Arena (on campus in the Student Activities Center) on the corner of Floyd and Cardinal from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 30th the tryouts will be at Louisville Cheer and Dance Co. at 3321 Gilmore Industrial Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All Candidates must bring a copy of their health insurance card to the first day of tryouts. (No exceptions)
All Candidates must be accepted to the University of Louisville. If you have applied but not been accepted yet, candidates must have proof that of application.
Candidates must present a clean-cut image to be selected as a University of Louisville cheerleader. Body piercings, tattoos, extreme hairstyles or colors are not acceptable at tryouts.
All tryouts are closed to family and spectators with the exception of the Sesson on Saturday, April 29th in Cardinal Arena.
Candidates are encouraged to bring bottled water/sports drinks and healthy snacks to the tryouts.
If needed, candidates will provide their own pre-wrap and tape as it will not be provided at the site.
Dress/Attire: Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, candidates should dress in form fitting athletic clothing. Bra tops, fitted tees, etc. are acceptable. On Saturday, the following is mandatory: Girls: must wear a skirt and fitted bra top or fitted tank. Be creative. Hairbows, makeup etc. are acceptable but keep it suitable for family viewing. Guys must wear a tucked-in polo shirt and khaki shorts. Candidates must be clean-shaven.
All-tryout material will be taught at the tryout clinics on Thursday and Friday. It is important that candidates attend all four days of tryouts.
For Ladybirds Dance Team:
The tryouts will be Friday, April 28 from 3:30-7:30 at Cardinal Arena.
On Saturday, April 29, the tryouts will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Planet Dance, 1090 Copperfield Drive, Georgetown, Ind. (Directions will be given out on Friday.)
On Sunday, April 30, the tryouts will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Cardinal Arena. This final tryout is open to families and other spectators but all other sessions are closed.
