
Women's Golf Finishes 10th in LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic

Baton Rouge, La. - The University of Louisville women's golf team moved up one spot after shooting a 300 in the final round of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals finished 10th with a score of 916. Auburn won the event with a score of 873. Host LSU finished second with a score of 875 and Vanderbilt finished third wiht a score of 878.
Junior Adrienne White led the Cardinals with another Top 20 Finish. White carded a 72 in the final round to finish tied for 13th with a score of 221. Vanderbilt's Jenny Concolino took medalist honors after shooting a 67 in the final round to finish with a score of 210.
Freshman Cindy LaCrosse finished the final round shooting a 76, tying her for 21st with a score of 225. Jenny Calkins carded a 77 in the final round giving her a three round score of 236. Calkins finished tied for 64th place. Freshman Amanda Henry shot her best score of the tournament with a 75. Henry finished tied at 79th with a score of 236. Cristina Gonzalez finished with a score of 241, tying her for 79th place.
The Cardinals will be back in action on March 11-12 at the Sun Trust Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
