Saturday's Softball Games Postponed

COLUMBUS, Ga. - - The University of Louisville's softball games scheduled for Saturday in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Leadoff Classis have been postponed due to rain moving into the Columbus area. The No. 24 ranked Cardinals (9-1) were scheduled to play Massachusetts (1-6) at 12:30 p.m.
The association is still looking at the possibility of playing those games today, and a decision on whether games will be played today is expected in the early afternoon hours. The forecast for Sunday has vastly improved over the last several hours, so the association is confident that more games in the tournament will be played even if Saturday's action is cancelled.
