
Men's Soccer Faces DePaul on Saturday

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville Cardinal men's soccer team returns home after a three game road stretch to face DePaul on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park. The Cardinals, 4-7-1 overall and 3-4-0 in BIG EAST play, look to regroup after a loss to No. 9/14 Indiana on Wednesday. DePaul comes into the match with an overall record of 3-8-2 BIG EAST record of 2-5-0.
The junior duo of David Guzman and Frank Jonke lead the team both with double digit points. Guzman has leads the team with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Jonke ranks second on the team with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Freshman keeper David Simolike leads the Cardinals with 40 saves this season.
The Blue Demons are led in scoring by Alex Managan with five goals for 10 points. DePaul keeper Brian Visser has recorded 53 saves on the season.
The Cardinals lead the series against DePaul 9-5-1. Last season DePaul defeated the Cardinals 2-1 in Chicago, Ill.
