
Women's Golf Finished Third at Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate

Kiawah Island, S.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished at third at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate on Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals shot a 296 in the final round to finish with a score of 893. Campbell University won the tournament with a score of 879 while East Tennessee State finished second with a score of 889.
Senior Cristina Gonzalez finished tied for third with a career best score of 217. Gonzalez shot a collegiate best 71 in the second round of the tournament. College of Charleston's Steffi Kirchmayr took titlest honors with a score of 214.
Senior Adrienne White finished 10th with a score of 221. White carded a 71 in the final round. Sophomore Amanda Henry finished tied for 20th with a score of 226. Sophomore Cindy LaCrosse finished tied for 38th with a score of 230. Junior Jenny Calkins finished tied at 54th with a score of 234.
The tournament wraps up the fall season for the Cardinals. Louisville finished the fall with Top 5 finishes in all five tournaments. The Cardinals will begin the spring season on Feb.5 at the Baja Invitational.
