Lincoln, Neb. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished third at the Chip-N Club Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cardinals carded a 313 in the final round to finish with a score of 928. Host Nebraska finished first with a score of 902, and Kansas State finished second with a score of 928.
"This was a good tournament for my freshman to get their feet wet before we head into regional competition," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "I am proud of way this team performed today, especially with such a young lineup. Adrienne did a good job but still has her best game ahead of her. Jenny really stepped up and did a good job."
Junior Adrienne White finished tied for third with a score of 225. Nebraska's Jackie Beste took titlest honors with a score of 220 and fellow Cornhusker Sara Sackett finished second with a score of 223.
