
Javelet Earns BIG EAST Player of the Week Honors

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville junior midfielder Jessica Javelet was namd the BIG EAST's field hockey Offensive Player of the Week today. It is the second BIG EAST Player of the Week honor for the junior this season.
Javelet notched two consecutive hat tricks, scoring six goals and dishing out one assist for 13 points on the week. The No. 13 Cardinals defeated Saint Louis, 6-1, and Syracuse, 6-0 to improve to 9-2 overall, 1-0 in the BIG EAST. Javelet set a new school record for career goals with 39 and currently leads the nation in goals and assists.
