Louisville, Ky. - Cindy LaCrosse has signed a national letter-of-intent to continue her golf career at the University of Louisville next season. LaCrosse, a senior at Plant High School in Tampa, Fla., was named the Hillsborough County Golfer of the Year in 2004.
"We are excited to have Cindy join the team next season," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "She will bring a lot of determination and a great work ethic to the team. With some of the departures this season we look for her to compete for a spot in the lineup."
LaCrosse was named first team all-county for four consecutive seasons. She was the district winner in 2004 and finished sixth at regionals that same year. She finished sixth at the AJGA Golfpride Junior Classic last summer and finished second at the FGJA Dade City.
