
Women's Golf Finishes 5th at C-USA Championship

Memphis, Tenn. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished fifth with a score of 945 at the Conference USA Championship in Memphis, Tenn. Tulane shot a 294 in the final round to overtake TCU and win the championship with a score of 898. TCU finished second with a score of 903 and South Florida finished third with a score of 909.
Sophomore Adrienne White shot a 79 in the final round to finish tied at eighth with a score of 229. Tulane's Alison Walshe shot a 71 in the final round to take medalist honors with a score of 214.
Senior Meghan Little led the Cardinals on the final day with a score of 78. Little finished tied at 13th with a score of 232. Freshman Jenny Calkins shot a 79 in the final round, finishing 24th with a score of 238. Sophomores Cristina Gonzalez and Amy Yeates finished tied for 36th and 47, respectively.
Three Cardinals earned All-Conference USA honors this week. Sophomore Adrienne White was named first team All-Conference USA while senior Meghan Little earned second team All-Conference USA honors. Freshman Jenny Calkins was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team.
