Tucson, Ariz. - Senior Meghan Little won her third tournament of her career with a score of 209 to win the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. Little tied her collegiate low with a 68 in the first round and 69 in the second round on the first day. The senior finished the tournament shooting par the final day to win the tournament to win by two strokes.
The Cardinals finished the tournament tied for 11th with a score of 897. The Cardinals score was the third best score in school history and the third lowest score this season. Northwestern University won the tournament with a score of 870. Idaho finished second with a score of 880 and Missouri finished third with an 881.
Sophomore Adrienne White finished the tournament tied at 23rd with a score of 222. Sophomore Cristina Gonzalez and freshman Jenny Calkins finished tied for 60th with a score of 233. Gonzalez shot a career low 72 in the second round of the tournament. Sophomore Amy Yeates finished 82nd with a score of 261.
