
Women's Golf Stands at 7th After First Round

Baton Rouge, La. - The University of Louisville women's golf team stands in seventh place after shooting a 308 in the first round of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic. Host LSU is in first place with a score of 296. Tulane is currently second with a score of 302 and NC State is third with a score of 303.
Senior Meghan Little is tied for third place after shooting a 72 in the first round of action. Tulane's Alison Walshe leads the field with a score of 69.
Sophomore Adrienne Wright is tied for seventh after shooting a 73 in the first round. Sophomore Cristina Gonzalez shot a 79 in the first round and is currently tied at 40th. Freshman Jenny Calkins shot an 84 and is tied at 81st while sophomore Amy Yeates is tied at 83rd with an 85.
The Cardinals will resume action with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
