
Women's Tennis Squeaks by Eastern Michigan

The University of Louisville No. 75-ranked women's tennis team squeaked by Eastern Michigan 4-3 to move to 11-3 for the season today at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
"It was great to come back and win the match after being down 2-0. we fought back to win after being in a very tough spot," said U of L coach Greg Davis.
The Cardinals dropped the doubles point when the No. 3 pair of Ariana Marshall and Robyn White had to default. The Cardinals had already dropped the No. 1 spot by a narrow 8-6 loss. The No. 2 pair of Kelly Taylor and Natalie Laszkowski prevailed 8-4.
The Cardinals dropped the No. 1 match in singles before White swept her No. 2 match 6-0, 6-0 over Elizabeth Syrova. Taylor won her match at No. 3 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Yana Parfenyuk. Laszkowski took her match at No. 4 with a 6-4, 6-2 win. Suzanna Gracanin rolled easily at 6-0, 6-0 over Catherine Bestehoon for the fourth point.
