Overton and White Named to Senior All-Star Team

University of Louisville field hockey players Rachel Overton and April White were selected to the 2005 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I South All-Star Squad. The 2005 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the University of Louisville's Trager Stadium.
Overton, a senior defender from Newbury Park, Calif. (Newbury HS) is a three-year starter for the Cardinals. This season she has three goals and is tied for third on the team with six assists. The 2004 All-MAC second team selection has five career goals and 11 assists for 21 points.
White, a senior defender/midfielder from Louisville, Ky. (Ballard HS) is also a three-year starter who is currently tied for third on the team with six assists. White has three career goals and 16 assist for 22 career points.
The No. 16-ranked Cardinals (10-6, 2-2 (BIG EAST) will play host to BIG EAST opponent Rutgers Friday at 3 p.m. U of L will celebrate senior day and wrap up the home season against Radford Sunday at 1 p.m. at Trager Stadium.
