
Women's Tennis Scrambles IUPUI

The University of Louisville women's tennis team swept IUPUI in their fourth match of the weekend and the second of the day with a 7-0 win Sunday evening at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
"We played very well in singles today. We have a very tough weekend ahead playing against Marshall and North Carolina State," said U of L head coach Greg Davis. "We hope to be able to compete well with those difficult opponents."
The Cardinals won every singles match including 6-0, 6-0 sweeps from No. 4-6.
The Cardinals also swept the doubles although IUPUI put up a battle at No. 1 doubles. Mallory Stemle and Michelle Cunningham took U of L's Leslie Stewart and Suzanna Gracanin to 9-7 before bowing out. At No. 2, Kelly Taylor and Natalie Laszkowski won 8-1 with Ariana Marshall and Robyn White pairing to win at No.3 with an 8-1 score.
