
Women's Tennis Ousts Governors

The University of Louisville women's tennis took the doubles point and all six singles to sweep Austin Peay State in dual match play at Bass Rudd Tennis Center Friday.
"We played well and were very focused," said U of L Coach Greg Davis. "We have four matches this weekend and today was a great start."
U of L was dominant in doubles, losing only two games in all three matches. Leslie Stewart and Suzanna Gracanin paired at No. 1 doubles to win 8-0, The No. 2 pair of Kelly Taylor and Natalie Laszkowski had the same result in their match against Elizabeth Whelpley and Jessica Hawk. Ariana Marshall and Robyn White combined at No. 3 doubles to win 8-2.
The Cardinals swept four singles matches at 6-0, 6-0. Stewart at No. 1, Laszkowski at No. 4, Gracanin at No. 5 and Marshall at No. 6.
