LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- - University of Louisville men's tennis coach Rex Ecarma announced the addition of three newcomers: Pablo Camacho, Nicolas Houard and Slavko Radman. They will be eligible to play in the 2004-05 season. Camacho, joins the Cardinals as a freshman from Mexico City, Mexico. Houard a Crespieres, France native joins the Cardinals as a junior transfer from the University of New Orleans. Radman, a sophomore from Kastel Stari, Croatia, transferred from South Carolina State. "I decided to bring in two experienced players who can impact an already solid lineup," said Ecarma. "As a freshman, Slavko Radman won 95% of his matches and led South Carolina State to a conference championship and an NCAA berth. Nicolas Houard was a top young player at New Orleans, but has always wanted to be a Cardinal. He raises the level of talent on our team. Pablo Camacho was widely known as one of the top five prospects in all of Mexico. I believe he can be instrumental in making us a better team." U of L finished the 2003-04 season with a 19-9 record and an NCAA regional appearance. The Cardinals were No. 40 in the final ITA rankings.
