
Women's Tennis Continues Play at Roberta Allison Tournament

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. - The University of Louisville women's tennis team completed the second day of competition at the University of Alabama's Roberta Alison Tournament in Tuscaloosa.
The Cardinals posted three wins on Saturday in singles. Freshman Robyn White beat Amber Dyar of Samford 6-1,6-0 in the Flight E singles. Sophomore Natalie Laszkowski held on to win over Bethany Benson of Samford 6-3, 7-5 and Arianna Marshall beat Mandy Steptoe of Auburn-Montgomery in a default.
Leslie Stewart, U of L's No. 1 singles player last year until an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season, is back in action. She fell 6-3, 6-0 to Auburn's Jelena Jovic 6-3, 6-0. Kelly Taylor fell to Isabel Rosenbrook of Auburn and Suzanna Gracanin fell to Mississippi State's Tarryn Rodman.
U of L wraps up play Sunday in the final day of competition.
