Sherman Named C-USA Co-Pitcher of the Week

University of Louisville softball player Aja Sherman was named Conference USA Co-Pitcher of the Week for her efforts over the period ending April 4.
The junior from Las Vegas posted two complete game shutouts against C-USA opponent East Carolina. She registered 13 strikeouts and scattered seven hits in 12 innings on the week. Sherman, who splits time between first base and pitcher, improved her record to 8-2 on the season. She has thrown three straight complete game shutouts and has not allowed a run in 26 innings of work.
Louisville (27-10, 10-2 C-USA) will travel to Bowling Green, to play Western Kentucky on Wednesday, April 7 in a doubleheader beginning at 5:00 p.m.
