
Women's Golf Tied at 16th After Second Round

Greensboro, N.C. - University of Louisville women's golf team is tied for 16th after second round play in the prestigious Bryan National Collegiate. The Cardinals finished the second round with a score of 313. Duke leads the field, at five under par with a score of 571. Auburn is second with a score of 583 and host Wake Forest is third with a score of 585.
Junior Meghan Little led the Cardinals in the second round, finishing two over par with a score of 74. Duke's Brittany Lang and Vanderbilt's May Wood are tied for first at four under par.
Sophomore Elly Leonard shot an 80 today and is tied for 54th with a score of 155. Freshmen Cristina Gonzalez and Katie Tewell are tied for 79th place after shooting an 81 today for a total score of 161. Senior Ali Wright moved up a few spots after shooting a 78 in the second round and is tied for 82nd.
The Cardinals will wrap up play Sunday morning with a shotgun start.
