
Women's Golf Tied for Second After First Round

Bradenton, Fla. - University of Louisville women's golf team is currently tied for second place in the Waterlefe/USF Invitational after the first round. The Cardinals are tied with East Carolina and Ole Miss after shooting a 306 in the first round. The University of Miami is in first place after shooting a 291.
Sophomore Elly Leonard is currently tied for 10th after shooting a 75. Nikki Hadd of Ole Miss is currently in the lead with a score of 70.
Senior Ali Wright and freshman Katie Tewell are both tied for 13th after shooting a 76. Junior Meghan Little is tied for 36th after finishing the first round with a score of 79. Freshman Amy Yeates is currently in 86th place after shooting a 104.
The Cardinals will wrap up play tomorrow with a shotgun start.
