Women's Tennis Signs JuCo All-American Leslie Stewart

Tyler (Texas) Junior College All-American Leslie Stewart has signed a national-letter of intent to continue her tennis career at the University of Louisville.
"Leslie has been ranked in the top five in singles by the ITA and has been the top doubles player in the country for the last two years. We feel very blessed to have her as part of our program," said Greg Davis, U of L head coach. "Leslie brings not only experience but an athleticism that our team needs."
Stewart, a native of Austin, Texas helped Tyler to a national junior college title at No. 2 singles in 2002.
"Leslie has shown a great ability to be able to perform at a high level under pressure. Her experience at Tyler that last two years will be a great addition to our team," said Davis.
During her junior career, Stewart was ranked in the top five in Texas in all age groups in singles. She was ranked in the top 100 in the country in Girls' 18s singles rankings.
