Field Hockey Earns First Round Bye in MAC Tournament

The University of Louisville field hockey team will travel to Kent, Ohio for the Mid-American Conference field hockey tournament Nov. 7-9.
The Cardinals (11-9) finished the season with a 6-4 league record which tied them for second with Central Michigan. U of L won the tie-break and earned a No. 2 seed in the tournament. After a first round bye, the Cardinals will face the winner of Central Michigan and Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Nov. 8 at noon on the campus of Kent State.
The championship game will take place Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1:00 p.m.
