(on the victory) "This is huge for the program. We should be thankful that they even gave us the courtesy to come here and play us which not many other teams are willing to do. Maybe this will allow us to play other teams at our place."
(on the team) "The kids did a great job of preparing themselves and the short week probably helped us as well. The rain also helped us; it equalized some things. Our kids believed in one another and we just continued to fight. The coaches did a great job. They put together a plan that worked and we stuck to it. It was a team effort and I'm proud of all the guys.
