LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Mary Louise Frolich-Hansen of Arhus, Denmark has signed a national letter of intent to continue her tennis career at the University of Louisville according to new head coach Greg Davis.
Frolich-Hansen is one of Denmark's most promising junior players and will join the Cardinal squad in January for the second semester. She is ranked in the Top 7 nationally in Denmarks women's division and is a top-ranked player in the junior division.
"I am looking forward to her joining the team in January . She is a very solid baseline player who is a gifted and accomplished doubles player as well, " said Davis. "With her international experience, we feel that Mary Louise will come in a push for one of the top spots on the team.
Frolich-Hansen joins Jasmin Singh, who was signed prior to Davis' appointment. Singh, from Coppell, Tex. is ranked in the Top 8 in the state of Texas in singles and in Top 3 in doubles.
"We are pleased to have Jasmin as a part of the team starting in the fall," said Davis. "Jasmin is a giffted player who is highly regarded in the Texas Sectional. That sectional is known as one of the toughest sections in the country. She is going to add depth to both the doubles and singles positions."
