
Pasechnik Named C-USA Scholar Athlete of the Year

Louisville, KY - The University of Louisville's Cindy Pasechnik was named Conference USA Scholar Athlete of the year for women's golf. C-USA Scholar Athlete of the Year awards are presented to the top student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport. The award is based on academic achievement (GPA), athletic achievement and service.
Pasechnik was the Cardinals' top golfer this season with a scoring average of 76.1. She had four top ten finishes and two top twenty finishes on the season.
Pasechnik finished third at the Conference USA Championships last month in Hattiesburg, Miss. She also earned first team All-Conference USA honors and was named to the All-Conference USA Tournament team.
On the academic side, Pasechnik is majoring in finance and carries a cumulative GPA of 4.00.
