Pasechnik Earns Academic Honors

Louisville, Ky. - Junior Cindy Pasechnik of the University of Louisville women's golf team was named to the Verizon Academic District IV Team.
Pasechnik was honored for carrying a cumulative grade point average of 4.00 in finance. She was the Cardinals' top golfer this season with an average of 76.1. She had four top ten finishes and two top twenty finishes on the season.
Pasechnik finished third at the Conference USA Championships last month in Hattiesburg, Miss. She also earned first team All-Conference USA honors and was named to the All-Conference USA Tournament team.
Pasechnik will be added to the national ballot for the Verizon Academic All-America honors. Members on the first team of every district will be on the national ballot.
