Remainder of Cardinal Softball Spring Tournament Canceled

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The final Saturday game between Northwestern and Northern Iowa and all Sunday games of the Cardinal Softball Classic have been canceled due to inclement weather. The Saturday schedule changed to accomodate as many games as possible, the results are as follows:
Saturday's results (3/2/02): Northern Iowa 7 Louisville 5Northwestern 12 Belmont 2
Toledo 4 Kent State 12 (6 innings)
Kent State 3 Northern Iowa 0 (5 innings, game called due to rain - final score)
Friday's results (3/1/02): Northern Iowa 6 Toledo 3
Northwestern 3 Northern Iowa 0
Northwestern 1 Louisville 6
Toledo 0 Belmont 3
Kent State 1 Belmont 0
No Sunday games will be played.
