Dear Cardinal Athletic Fund Donor:
FIND A FAN... EARN FREE U of L MERCHANDISE!
That's right, it's that easy! You have the opportunity to participate in a revolutionary new program only available to CAF members - "Fan Drive 2002". The concept behind the FAN DRIVE is simple - it's FANS FINDING FANS!
Here's how it works: The new incentive-based "FAN DRIVE" campaign asks each CAF donor to cultivate and recruit one new fan. Our goals are to expand the Cardinal Nation and continue to provide our student-athletes with opportunities to succeed on and off the field of competition. Special U of L incentives will be awarded to everyone that participates.
Included in this mailing is a one-page brochure with descriptions of the possible incentive items you will earn for assisting the Cards. The program is structured so that you get compensated with U of L gifts for your loyalty. For example, if you find one friend and he/she becomes a CAF contributor, you will be eligible for the gift commensurate with the amount your friend donated. It's that simple!
For instance, one new fan that contributes, $250.00, will help you earn the officially licensed stadium chair listed in the brochure under "Level 3". The new donor is rewarded with the satisfaction of helping U of L student-athletes and the opportunity to take advantage of CAF benefits. Plus, as a special incentive to help us reach our goals of increasing our fan-base, each participating CAF member will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an all-expense paid trip for two to watch Coach Pitino's Cards take on the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville on Saturday, January 25.
It's a win-win-win situation for all parties involved. You earn special U of L merchandise and the satisfaction of helping the Cards, your friend takes advantage of CAF benefits while joining 7,000 other Cardinal fans, and the Cardinal Athletic Fund has accomplished its goals of providing the necessary financial assistance to U of L's student-athletes and expanding the Cardinal Nation.
