
Women's Golf in 16th Place After First Round

Las Cruse, NM - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 325 in the first round of the Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate. The University of New Mexico leads the field with a score of 299. Baylor is second with a 304 and host New Mexico State is third with a 305.
New Mexico's Kellyn Newman leads the field with a score of 72. The Cardinals' Jessica Kell, competing as an individual, finished the day with the low round of 78. Kell currently stands in 39th place. Senior Cindy Pasechnik is tied a 36th with a score of 79. Sophomore Meghan Little is tied for 48th with a score of 80.
Ali Wright and Morgan Hapney are tied for 73rd with a score of 83. Freshman Elly Leonard is tied for 83rd with a score of 84.
The Cardinals will continue play tomorrow and Wednesday with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.
