
Women's Golf Shoots 303 in Final Round

Greenville, S.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 303 in the final round of the Lady Paladin Invitation on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals finished 12th out of 16 teams with a score of 924. Host Furman won the title with a score of 880. South Carolina finished second with a total of 884 while TCU jumped up to third with a score of 887.
TCU's Brooke Tull took medalist honors after shooting a 68 in the final round and finishing the tournament four under par. Junior Morgan Hapney shot the team's low round for the second straight day with a season low 71. Hapney finished the tournament tied for 23rd with a score of 225.
Senior Jessica Kell shot a 77 today to finished tied at 49th with a score of 234. Ali Wright also finished 49th after shooting an 81 in the final round. Senior Cindy Pasechnik shot a 78 for the day to finish tied at 57th with a score of 235.
Sophomore Meghan Little shot a 77 in the final round to finish tied for 61st with a score of 236. Freshman Elly Leonard finished the tournament tied at 72nd with a score of 242.
The Cardinal will be back in action next weekend at the Landfall Traditional in Wilminton, N.C.
