
Women's Golf Earns Academic Honors

Louisville, Ky. - Three members of the University of Louisville women's golf team were named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team. Senior Katherine Mowat and sophomores Cindy Pasechnik and Jessica Kell were all honorees.
Mowat, a physical education major with a 3.8 GPA, was also a first-team member of the Verizon Academic All-District IV Team. She was second on the team this season with an average of 77.72. She finished the season with two top ten finishes and two top twenty finishes. Mowat was also a two-time first team All-C-USA honoree and a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Pasechnik, a finance major with a perfect 4.0 GPA, was also a second-team member of the Verizon Academic All-District IV Team. She was the Cardinals' top golfer this season with an average of 77.52. She had three top ten finishes and three top twenty finishes on the season. Pasechnik is a two-time first team All-C-USA honoree and a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Kell, a psychology major with a 3.6 GPA, was a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. She finished the season ranked fifth on the team with a 80.72 stroke average. Kell was also a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
