LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville third baseman/designated player, Melissa Jacobo, was named Conference USA Hitter of the Week for the period ending April 1.

Jacobo batted .560 (14 of 25) on the week with two doubles, two homers and nine RBIs. She had at least one hit in all seven contests and five multi-hit performances. The native of Whittier, CA, leads the Cardinals with a .400 average and is hitting .480 in conference games.
