Coughlin Earns Conference USA Hitter of the Week Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville softball player Coleen Coughlin was named Conference USA Hitter of the Week.
Coughlin, a senior from Glendale, Ariz. went 12 for 26 in seven games with a .462 batting average as the Cardinals' lead-off hitter. She was 4 for 4 in the 1-0 loss to Indiana and went three for four with three runs scored in U of L's 10-1 win over Kentucky in the championship game of the University of Kentucky Softball Invitational. Coughlin scored nine runs over the week and was a perfect four for four in stolen bases.
U of L (16-8) will travel to Sacramento, Calif. to compete in the Capital Classic Softball Tournament hosted by Sacramento State.
