U of L Arena Feasibility Committee Reactivated

At the request of University of Louisville President John Shumaker, community and business leaders agreed to reactivate the U of L Basketball Arena Feasibility Committee, co-chaired by Malcolm Chancey and Owsley Frazier.
The goal of the committee, which was originally formed in 1999, is to evaluate the long-term seating capacity and facilities needs of the Cardinals' basketball program.
"I appreciate the initiative of this group of community leaders and their desire to ensure that the long-term needs of our program are met," said U of L Director of Athletics Tom Jurich. "Interest in our program continues to reach incredible heights, particularly with Coach Rick Pitino now leading our program, and we want to continue to look forward."
