
Women's Golf Moves Up On Second Day

Greenville, SC - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 315 today in the first round of the Lady Paladin Invitational. The Cardinals moved up a place today and is currently in 12th place out of 21 teams. Auburn leads with a two round total of 599 and Wake Forest is second with a score of 601.
"It was very cold and windy today but we came out and did our best and managed to move up," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "We will just take tomorrow as another day and try to make another move up."
Glasgow native, Morgan Hapney led the Cardinals today, shooting a 77.
After two rounds of play Hapney stands at 49th place. Ali Wright shot a 78 and currently is tied for 26th place with a two round total of 155.
Erin Bell shot a 79 for a two round total of 156 and is tied for 38th place. Cindy Pasechnik shot an 81 today and Jessica Kell shot an 85 for a two round total of 166.
The Cards will have continue play tomorrow, teeing off at 9:00 p.m.
