Field Hockey Home Opener Against Saint Louis

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville field hockey team will play its first home game against Saint Louis on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.
The Cardinals are led by sophomore forward Keri Beckhorn, who earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Week honors and leads the conference in scoring. The Billikens (1-3, 1-2 NorPac) are lead by freshman Lindsey Lombardo.
Saint Louis holds a 28-8-1 advantage in the series. Last year the Billikens won a 3-2 overtime decision in St. Louis.
Louisville (2-2, 0-0 MAC) is currently ranked No. 17 in the HockeyPoint! rankings. This marks the first time U of L field hockey has appeared in the top 25.
