Men's Tennis Picks Up Win At Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team went on the road to East Lansing, Mich., and defeated Michigan State 5-2 on Saturday.
The Spartans picked up the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Louisville's Tvrtko Kujundzic won at the top seed by defeating Ken Kigongo in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. Alex Sivertsen, Paulo Carvalho, Oliver Cantrell and Brent McCombe also picked up point for the Cards at Nos. 3-6, respectively. The Spartans' other point was won by Ivica Primorac, as he outlasted Joachim Lien 7-5, 6-3, 7-5 at the two spot.
Louisville, No. 52 according to Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, improves its record to 7-2. The Cardinals will play host to No. 6 SMU on Tuesday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center at 5:00 p.m.
