McClure Named C-USA Softball Pitcher of the Week

CHICAGO - University of Louisville softball pitcher Tara McClure was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
She tossed the first no-hitter in Louisville and C-USA history when the Cards defeated Belmont, 9-1 on March 23. McClure (10-3) then threw her sixth shutout of the season in an 8-0 win over UAB. In that game she allowed two hits and struck out nine. She added another complete game performance in Sunday's 3-2 win at UAB while striking out nine.
U of L (23-10, 3-0) travels to Lexington to play Kentucky on Wednesday, March 29 at 6:00 p.m.
