LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's tennis coach Meg Peavy has announced that Julie Penn and Paige Eber have signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their careers at U of L.
Penn comes from Warrensville High in Wheaton, Ill. The right-hander is a highly-ranked player in state and national listings. "She brings a big game to town," said Peavy. "Julie is an all-court player with an outstanding serve. Her prowess at the net is also a strength. At 5-10, she will be developing into a huge threat from day one."
Eber is a right-hander from Barron-Collier in Naples, Fla. She is ranked in the top 40 in Florida Girls 18's. "It goes without saying that Paige is very competitive in both singles and doubles," said Peavy. "Her strength are lightning fast reflexes and great footwork. She has a great set of wheels."
