Calderon Named To South All-Region Softball Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville softball player Keola Calderon was named to the 2000 South All-Region Softball Second Team.
Calderon, a freshman utility player from Orcutt, Calif., played mostly in the outfield for the Cards, but also spent time at first base, second base and designated hitter. The only player to start in all 62 games for Louisville, Calderon batted .305 and led the team with 62 hits, four triples and 32 RBI. She also earned First-Team All-Conference USA and Freshman All-C-USA team honors.
U of L ended its inaugural softball season with a 36-26 record (8-8 C- USA).
