Women's Basketball Defeats UAB On The Road

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Louisville women's basketball team extended its winning streak to five in a row as the Cardinals defeated UAB 67-50 Friday night in at Bartow Arena in Birmingham.
The Cards went on a 16-2 run early in the second half to break open a one-point game en route to the victory. All-America candidate Jill Morton led U of L with a game-high 15 points, while Stacey Hillman added 13. Alison Bass pulled down nine rebounds and Jenny Knight dished out six assists to aid in the win.
