LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Ticker) - Lisa Griffith drilled four 3-pointers and scored 19 points as 15th-ranked Arizona shot 62 percent from the field in the second half and defeated Louisville, 80-70.
Tatum Brown added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Wildcats (11-1). Julie Brase scored only eight points but her 3-pointer highlighted a 6-0 burst that put Arizona ahead for good, 47-41, with 15:49 remaining.
Neither team shot well in a first half that ended in a 32-32 tie. The Wildcats connected on 39 percent (11-of-28) of their field goal attempts while Louisville shot just 25 percent (8-of-32).
Jill Morton led all scorers with 25 points for the Cardinals (6-4), but the other four starters combined for only 26.
