Three Field Hockey Players Named To NFHCA Academic Squad

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three University of Louisville field hockey players: Tonya Harrison, Heather Slider and Sarah Ross, have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Division I Association Academic Squad.
A student-athlete must possess a minimum grade point average of 3.30, be a starter or a reserve, and be in her second/sophomore season of competition to be selected on the squad.
Harrison, a senior forward from Louisville Kentucky led the team in assists with six and scored four goals. Ross, a sophomore midfielder from Nicholson, Pa. scored her first collegiate goal this season, and Slider, a junior defender from Louisville, Ky. was named to the Mid-American Conference Second Team.
